Adam Benowitz
Senior Managing Director; Chief Investment Officer

Adam Benowitz co-founded Vision in 2003, and is responsible for directing the overall investment strategy of the Firm. Previously, he was the head trader for Rose Glen Capital and spent ten years in various senior trading and portfolio management roles at Apex Capital Management, Susquehanna Investment Group, The American Stock Exchange, RMS Associates, and Legg Mason Wood Walker. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.

Randolph Cohen, Ph.D.
Senior Managing Director; President

Dr. Cohen, co-founder of Vision, is responsible for overseeing strategic direction, risk management, business development, and financial operations. He is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Harvard Business School and previously held positions as an actuarial analyst at several firms in addition to serving as the President of Boston Auto Brokers. He has published working papers on the subjects of Alternative Investment Management, Asset Pricing, and Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Mathematics, cum laude, from Harvard University. He is a member of the American Finance Association and the European Finance Association.

Andrew Lutz
Managing Director; Portfolio Manager

Andrew Lutz oversees the fixed income strategies for Vision and serves as portfolio manager for Vision Guardian Partners. Prior to joining Vision, Mr. Lutz managed fixed income strategies at Susquehanna International Group, LLP. Prior to Susquehanna, Mr. Lutz was an actuarial consultant for both Hewitt Associates and Aon Corporation. Mr. Lutz graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He has been on the Buy-side Advisory Group of both the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board and Euro Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.

Carl Kleidman
Managing Director; Investments

Carl Kleidman brings 25 years of investment experience to Vision. He oversees Vision’s Investment Team and manages the overall structure and execution of each investment transaction. Prior to joining Vision, Mr. Kleidman was a Managing Director at Centrecourt Asset Management and ComVest Investment Partners, as well as Head of Investment Banking at Commonwealth Associates and Barington Capital Group. Previously he was a partner at the law firm of Shea and Gould. Mr. Kleidman holds a J.D. from Cornell University Law School and a B.S. in Public Accounting & Finance, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University.

Jonathan Shane
Quantitative Analysis; Risk Management

Jonathan Shane brings 31 years of experience in quantitative risk management and analysis to Vision. He is a member of Vision’s Financial Operations Team and is responsible for Quantitative Portfolio Analysis and Risk Management. Prior to joining Vision, he was Managing Director, Head of Quantitative Trading, Quantitative Portfolio Manager, and Investment Systems Officer at TIAA-CREF. Jonathan also served as Vice President of the Bank of New York/Beacon Capital Management and worked at Dynamic Associates as a Senior Consultant. Jonathan has fulfilled all requirements except thesis for a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics at MIT and holds an M.S. in Management and a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Lisa Snow, Esq.
General Counsel; Chief Compliance Officer

Lisa Snow brings 20 years of legal experience to Vision, leading Vision’s Legal and Compliance Team as the Firm’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Vision, she was the Vice President & General Counsel, Corporate & Tax Law for TIAA-CREF. She was also an Associate at Parker, Chapin, Flattau & Klimpl and Seward & Kissel. Lisa holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the New York State Bar.

Robert J. Potvin, Jr.
Director of Sales and Client Service

Bob Potvin brings 17 years of experience in Institutional Client Relations and Sales. He is responsible for Vision Client Services and Marketing. Prior to joining Vision, Bob served as Co-Director of Mellon Asset Management’s Alternative Group and as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Client Service for the Mellon Growth Advisors (MGA) subsidiary. Additionally, he was Managing Director of Boston Safe Advisors, Inc. and Director of Planning Operations for Lincoln Financial Services, where he served as Managing Principal for their New England Operations. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
